25 years of experience in styling hair, I took the leap
and opened my own hair studio in 2008. I graduated from
cosmetology in 1986 and have enjoyed making people look
their best ever since. I have always dreamed of a shop where
customers felt so comfortable, they never want to leave.
Now I believe I have accomplished that. I specialize in
corrective coloring, high & low lights and just making
the right color choice for your skin tone and age. My hair
cuts are precision and edgy. I keep up-to-date on all the
latest styles and sometimes start my own trends. Though our salon does take walk-ins, we do prefer appointments ... But to see me, you will need an appointment so that I can give you the attention that you need. Looking forward to making you look AMAZING!!! :) Come see

I have been working at Tasha’s Techniques since September of 2009. I've learned so much working as Tasha's assistant: new and exciting “techniques” from her each day.
During my schooling I won 1st place in a Skills USA contest which tests your skills against others in your field, with updos being my strongest skill in that contest. I specialize in formal updos for wedding parties and prom styles, along with several different haircuts that Tasha has taught me. I enjoy coloring & am very good with foiling. I continually work to advance my knowledge of our color line and to keep up-to-date on the latest styles.

I have over 30 years experience in the hair industry and I still love it!! I spent 5 years in Florida working in an upscale salon and while there, I attend many cutting and coloring classes. I'm Shelby, the baby of the salon. I'm also Tasha's niece. My aunt is the one that inspired me to do hair and now I am leaning all I can from her to make my career successful. I started here doing hour long spa pedicures. I also love doing anything and everything to do with hair! I went to boces for 2 years and graduated in the top 5 of my class with mastery with distinction. Come see me anytime...I accept walk-ins for both a hair cut or pedicure. |
