22 years of experience in styling hair, I took the leap
and opened my own hair studio in 2008. I graduated from
cosmetology in 1986 and have enjoyed making people look
their best ever since. I have always dreamed of a shop where
customers felt so comfortable, they never want to leave.
Now I believe I have accomplished that. I specialize in
corrective coloring, high & low lights and just making
the right color choice for your skin tone and age. My hair
cuts are precision and edgy. I keep up-to-date on all the
latest styles and sometimes start my own trends. Come see
what I can do for you. Though I have 4 stylist on hand
at all times to take walk-ins, you would need to make an
appointment to see me. |

Hello!
I am Billy Szczerba and MANY of you probably know me from
the make-up counter at Kaufmann's. That's where it all
started: As a make up artist for Clinique and Elizabeth
Arden. I decided to go back to cosmetology school at BOCES
in New Hartford and became a licensed cosmetologist. It
only took me 30 years to find my true calling in life,
HAIR and MAKE-UP. My passion is anything that has to do
with color: From make-up to changing your entire hair
color and adding high/low lights. I've been with Tasha
since February as her assistant and now moving on to salon
manager and stylist.

I have been in the cosmetology industry for over 25 years. I started doing hair when I was a child on my Barbie’s and it blossomed since then. With 5 years teaching experience at the Mohawk Valley Beauty School in the early 80’s and 20 years experience as being a Paul Mitchell Platform Artist in both the US and Canada, I take pride in all my work. Besides my passion for cutting hair, I also excel in my color technique and chemical relaxers for curly/wavy hair. I continue my education by attending numerous cutting and color courses. I also take great pride in cutting/styling some of the crew of WKTV News. |
Coral Van Etten

I'm Coral & I’m the baby of the salon. I have been working at Tasha’s Techniques since September of 2009. I've learned so much working as Tasha's assistant & hope to keep learning new and exciting “techniques” from her each day.
During my schooling I won 1st place in a Skills USA contest which tests your skills against others in your field, with updos being my strongest skill in that contest. I specialize in formal updos for wedding parties and prom styles, along with several different haircuts that Tasha has taught me. I enjoy coloring & am very good with foiling. I continually work to advance my knowledge of our color line and to keep up-to-date on the latest styles. |
